Unleashing the Power of Imagination: A Journey Through the Pages with Pankaj Galiotra

Usually, I wake up with the help of an alarm. However, yesterday my brother Shalinder took my mobile to play Free Fire, so I didn't have it with me at night and I closed my room door. Then, he might have come to me, but the door was knocked. In the early morning, while in a state of sleep, I was having some romantic dreams. Then I heard my mother's voice; she said "Panku" twice and asked me to open the door because the food items were stored in my room. She wanted to take the food items to the kitchen to cook.

After some time, I decided to start preparing for the first unit test in mathematics. I only managed to prepare a part of it and felt burdened because I had postponed the work until the early morning. I completed some exercises, setting the timer for 90 minutes. When the timer finished, I set another 90-minute timer. At that point, I had only completed 35 minutes out of 90 minutes, which meant I still had 55 minutes left to work on in the late night.

I left all the books exactly at 7:30 a.m. and went outside for a while. Then, I went to the toilet. After coming back from there, I went to my room and then to the kitchen to wash my hands. I started preparing breakfast, which included rice, cooked pulses, and maize fulkas. After that, I went to our property land. There, I spent 10 minutes in the toilet.

Next, I went to the drum and instead of taking a bath, I only washed my head, face, feet, and hands. I returned to my house and started wearing my school uniform. I put on all the clothes and then took my mobile to play Free Fire until 9:00 a.m. I distinctly remember placing my mobile on Shalinder's bed at 9:00 a.m. and then heading to school. On my way, I didn't come across any friends to talk with. However, I did see Surf Raj, who lived in a house adjacent to Arjun's house. He was walking with his head down, but I didn't feel the need to lower my head.

I arrived at the Patan ground where I found Lakshmi and her friends. They had come from my house at 8:30 a.m. (Lakshmi's house is located just below my neighbor's house).

Well, I asked them if Sunil Singh had overtaken them. I reached Pandit's tanks, but still, no friends were there. I got closer to the school and followed another path that led to the school from the Panchayat Ghar. I headed towards the Panchayat Ghar and found some friends like Ankush and Pavitar. We treated each other nicely and greeted one another. Then, I asked them to come with me to get a test copy from Rakeshwar's shop. Ankush and I went to Rakeshwar's shop, but Pavitar Singh left us on the road. The shop is located close to the school and below the road, so we descended and entered the shop. I found my other classmates there, such as Manjeet, Vikram, Varinder, Ajay, etc. We greeted everyone and I asked Manjeet which copy he was planning to buy. He said a copy priced at 45 rupees was good for all the tests.

I bought that copy and told Rakeshwar Singh that I had a balance of 200 rupees. Then Varinder asked me to go directly to the Panchayat Ghar first. We first took the left-side roads, then descended, and finally turned left to reach the Panchayat Ghar. After a while, we went to the school ground. We joined a line and tried to enter the school, but then a teacher came and told us big boys not to enter the classrooms for just a moment, as instructed by the principal. So, we found a place to sit on the ground. Later, my friends also joined the line, but I didn't join them. While sitting, I buttoned up my shirt and then advanced to the classroom when there were no long lines of students. I went to the third storey of the school, where the 10th class was held in a hall. I entered the classroom and cleaned the dust off my desk using a duster.

After that, I sat down at my desk. Then, Sandeep sir entered the classroom and took attendance of our classmates. We noticed that the schoolmates had gathered on the ground for the prayer. We also went to the ground and participated in the prayer. Today, Sameeksha asked 4 or 5 creative questions during the assembly. I was surprised listening to the questions. However, it was not clear to all of us because there was a spinning Jenny machine operating at a distance from the ground, causing noise.

I asked Vikram for the answer to a question, and he told me that the answer was South Africa. I didn't provide the answer myself. But after Sameeksha, some students asked questions from their notebooks, and I answered three of those questions. Initially, I wasn't feeling well, but then I gave the answers nicely. I gave one answer as B. R. Ambedkar and gave something different for the others.

Within a few minutes, I noticed that the prayer was coming to an end, and I observed a small boy with a different eye color. One of his eyes had a commando eye color.

We returned to the classroom, and Sandeep sir also came in. He wrote four questions and two short definitions on the whiteboard and handed them out for our first unit test. We completed the test, but I accidentally tore one page of my copy as I wrote the answers to a question incorrectly. I rewrote it correctly on another page. You know, while writing the test, my Writo meter pen got stuck and leaked ink. Atul (Vikram's brother) from the 8th class gave me his pen so I could complete my test. After that, Priya collected our tests, but Sumit took a bit longer to hand his in. Eventually, Sumit also gave his test to the sir.

Following that, sir called two boys to collect the copies. So, Arun and I went to gather the copies. Then, sir asked me to separate my own copy for him to check. I asked Arun to wait downstairs, and I handed my copy to him (Sandeep sir) and placed all the copies neatly on a table. We arranged all the copies there. I separated my copy from the rest and carried it to sir. He checked my copy and returned it to me. I noticed that I had scored 20/20 marks in my test. Vikram asked me to show him my copy, so I gave it to him. I asked him to show me his copy, which had also been checked. I found that he, too, had received 20/20 marks in his test. As Vikram and I are the monitors of the 10th grade, we felt very proud of each other's hard work.

After that, the second period began and Hindi teacher, Punam mam, entered our class. She was checking the tests of other classes that she had taken. She instructed us to write a summary of Kabir's Sahi or Bihari Lal Dohe. I decided to write the summary of Kabir's Sahi.

I moved to the last desk and completed the general class test there. Mam told us to check our tests ourselves, but I didn't check mine. I spent several minutes talking and laughing with Anil and Sanjay.

Finally, the third period began. Mr. Bheem came to our classroom. He taught us the remaining part of Nelson Mandela's story. Today, we learned that a person has two obligations in life: their family and their country.

After the third period, we had a 30-minute break. We went outside the classroom and walked around for a while. We bought some snacks from the shop and chatted with each other. Atul and Ankush were there, and I had a lengthy conversation with them. I also saw Vishal and Sukhdev asking Atul for some money. I jokingly told them to become beggars, as they could not only get 5 rupees in 5 minutes but also 25 rupees in the same time. We laughed at the funny conversations.

After walking on the road for a bit, we returned to a public notice board near the panchayat ghar, and then we went back to the classroom. In the classroom, Atul mentioned that a "hotel" had opened (referring to a restroom), and we laughed. I joined him and shared a joke, which made us laugh even more. Then, I moved to sit with Daler Singh. When break time ended, all my classmates returned to the class, including my friend Arun, who sat with me at the same desk. I asked him to lend me a book of Geography and then my whole bag because I wanted to sit at Daler's desk (Daler's friend was absent today).

Next, Mr. Bheem came to teach us Social Science. He taught us a new chapter about minerals. We learned that minerals are found in or below rocks and that they are useful for us. We also learned that the center of the Earth is made up of iron. Additionally, we learned that limestone is used to make cement and white paint. We also discussed why cement turns black, which is due to the mixing of coal with limestone during its production. Mr. Bheem taught us well, and we enjoyed the lesson.

Today, the teacher started by asking why cement turns black when it is made from limestone. I wanted to stand up, but the teacher told me to answer while sitting, so I remained seated and raised my hand. Finally, I sat down and created a moment of laughter in the classroom.

He also asked about the meaning of "geo." I explained to him that "geo" refers to the earth or land.

During the same class, I asked him a question about the terai land when he entered the classroom. He explained that the terai land is like a valley where mountains are on one side and plains on the other.

Finally, we reached the last period, which was Science. In Science, the teacher taught us the definitions related to the chapter on carbon and its compounds. The teacher asked me a question about the name of a saturated carbon compound. I mistakenly said "alkenne" and "allkane," but he corrected me. I provided the correct answer as he showed that he hadn't heard my first response.

After that, school was over, and we went to the playground. Ajay and I raised the flag and placed it in the school. Then, I went to the road and noticed that something special had been given to the boys in the name of God. I joined the line to receive it, but then I saw Surjeet Singh there, so I went directly to him, took the special item in the name of God, and ate it. After that, I walked along the roads and encountered Ajita and Meenakshi. Ajita gave me some biscuits to eat, and I took a Frooti soda from Meenakshi to taste it.

Later, Meenakshi went to her father, who was working at Pandit's house, to give them Frooti. Ajita and I went to Patan without waiting for Meenakshi, but we decided to wait for her there. She joined us very soon.

During our journey, Ajita and I discussed how things could function without the need for money. We also talked about the importance of our families and how they are our first priority. We agreed that if our families depend on us, we would find a way to work, and if we depend on our families, we wouldn't hesitate to do the work. We further realized that if all the supporting elements for our families were completely gone, we would have two options: work or die. But we chose the first option, work.

Within work, we discussed two options: begging and serving. We decided that serving would allow us to survive.

We spent almost two hours talking until 5:30 pm. After our conversation, we headed to our respective homes. I arrived at my home, changed my clothes, and went to the kitchen to eat. Then, I entered Shalinder's bedroom and started writing a blog. Currently, it is 7:22 pm.
